Using the FlashBoard

The FlashBoard appears when you log into the Flash Seats® site. It gives you a summary of your Flash Seats account and includes five sections that detail your specific activities:

Selling Summary

The Selling Summary shows you tickets that you currently have for sale, your selling activity, and provides links that allow you to sell tickets, view tickets you have for sale, and view tickets you sold.

Viewing Tickets Currently for Sale

If you have tickets currently for sale, you see a summary of the listing, similar to the following:

You have 4 tickets for sale in 1 listing.

1 of your listings has 2 bids.

To view the tickets you have for sale, click either the number of tickets (e.g., 4) or the number of listings (e.g., 1).

To view the current bids for the tickets, click the number of bids (e.g., 2).

Viewing Sales Activity for a Specific Time Period

The Show Activity drop-down allows you to view your sales activity for any of the following time periods:

If you have sales activity within the time period you select, a summary of your activity appears below the Show Activity drop-down.

Links to Selling Areas of Site

The Selling Summary section provides you with several links that give you quick access to the selling portions of the site:

Buying Summary

The Buying Summary shows you tickets you currently have bids on, your buying activity, and provides links that allow you to buy tickets, view tickets you have bids on, and view tickets you have purchased.

Viewing Tickets You Currently Have Bids On

If you have current bids on tickets for sale, you see a summary of the bid, similar to the following:

You have 2 active bids to buy tickets.

To view the tickets you have bids on, click the number of bids (e.g., 2).

Viewing Buying Activity for a Specific Time Period

The Show Activity drop-down allows you to view your buying activity, which includes any bids you have made, for any of the following time periods:

If you have buying activity within the time period you select, a summary of the activity appears below the Show Activity drop-down.

Links to Buying Areas of Site

The Buying Summary section provides you with several links that give you quick access to the buying portions of the site:

Account Summary

The Account Summary shows information related to your account, if it applies. It can show your current account balance, emails that you haven't verified yet, parking pass information, and merged account information.

Viewing Your Account Balance

Your current account balance always appears in this section. To view the details of your balance, click the dollar amount.

Viewing Unverified Emails

If you added new email addresses to your account but haven't verified them yet, you will see a message similar to the following:

You have 2 unverified emails.

To view the email addresses that are currently unverified, click the number (e.g., 2). For more information on steps to verify emails, go to Verifying Your Login Email.

Viewing Your Parking Pass

If you have parking rights for an upcoming event, Flash Seats shows a link to your Traffic Assist, similar to the following:

We noticed you have upcoming events that include

parking. Make sure you print out a Flash Seats

Traffic Assist.

Click Traffic Assist to open the Traffic Assist page, which you need to print out ahead of the event. For more information on parking rights, go to Traffic Assist.

Viewing a Merged Account

If you have more than one Flash Seats account, you can ask Flash Seats Customer Service to merge the accounts into one. When you ask for the merge, you can request access to the account you closed. If you request access, a link appears in Flash Seats that allows you to view the closed account. You will see a message similar to the following:

Access your closed accounts (read-only):

Account#1 closed on 4/26/11 Remove

Click the Account# link to view the closed account in read-only mode. If you want to remove access to the closed account, which is irreversible, click Remove.

Transfer Summary

The Transfer Summary shows you transfers (giving tickets to another Flash Seats account holder) that are currently in progress, your transfer activity, and provides links that allow you to transfer tickets, view tickets you have transferred, and view tickets you have received through a transfer.

Viewing Transfers Currently In Progress

If you have tickets that are currently being transferred to another person, you will see a summary of the transfer, similar to the following:

You have 1 transfer which is in progress.

To view transfers that are currently in progress, click the number of transfers (e.g., 1.).

Viewing Transfer Activity for a Specific Time Period

The Show Activity drop-down allows you to view your transfer activity, which includes transfers you've made and transfers you've received, for any of the following time periods:

If you have transfer activity within the time period you select, a summary of the activity appears below the Show Activity drop-down.

Links to Transfer Areas of Site

The Transfer Summary section provides you with several links that give you quick access to the transfer portions of the site:

Attendance Summary

The Attendance Summary section shows your upcoming events and recent attendance activity. Under Next Event, you can view the next event for which you have tickets. To view the details of an event, click the event name. This section also reminds you to bring your ID to the event. To view the credit card associated with your account, click the credit card link. To view the driver's license associated with your account, click the driver's license link.

Traffic Assist

Traffic Assist is a dashboard sign that helps parking attendants at venues direct Flash Seats ticket holders with parking rights to the appropriate parking area.

Flash Seats parking rights are only offered in some venues. If you have parking for an event, you will see a Traffic Assist link in the Attendance Summary section. Click the Traffic Assist link, and you are taken to the Traffic Assist page. Simply print out the page and place it on your dashboard before entering the parking area. Once you enter the parking area, you will be required to redeem your parking rights with your registered identification.

Note: Traffic Assist is NOT a parking pass. It is only intended to assist parking attendants in directing you to the appropriate parking area.

Viewing Attendance Activity for a Specific Time Period

The Show Activity drop-down allows you to view your attendance activity for any of the following time periods:

If you have attendance activity within the time period you select, a summary of the activity appears below the Show Activity drop-down.
